Irene Merchant Holdings, established in 2012, boasts over a decade of extensive experience in logistics and shipping, which forms the cornerstone of our group's foundation. Initially, our geographic focus was the Persian Gulf and South Africa, where our activities primarily revolved around shipping services and the identification of business opportunities.

In 2015, we embarked on a journey into the petrochemical and chemical fertilizer markets of South Africa, gradually expanding our presence into other sub-Saharan countries. Since 2017, we have actively engaged in the petroleum product market, including diesel, gasoline, and bitumen, within the southern region of the African continent.

In 2018, Irene Merchant Group initiated operations in Brazil, entering the markets of grains and food products and facilitating exports from Brazilian ports to the Middle East. By 2020, we had taken strategic steps to develop energy-related products in the South African region, including the establishment of a mini-refinery for diesel production and the manufacturing of polymer bitumen

Furthermore, in 2022, in alignment with our ongoing investment strategies, we commenced the construction of a mini-refinery in Latin America for the production of diesel, gasoline, and polymer bitumen.

Our overarching vision revolves around capitalizing on investments made in South Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East concerning oil products, cultivating agricultural products, and fostering economic connections across the markets where we operate.
